Hey Brad,
I saw on Citizens Free Press that a lion and her cub got loose near Anderson, Indiana and was wondering if it was yours. Looks like they still have not found it.
Hopefully they will catch it instead of someone shooting it.
A few years ago in central Wisconsin near where we had a summer lake house the local paper said some released 4 large male lions in the country. Probably that person could not take care of them so just turned them loose.
I joked the family by saying "Remember, when you're sitting around the campfire late at night and hear a twig snap over in the woods, it's just a deer."
As a side note: a few years ago when some people thought they would make money raising ostriches but the whole thing did not work out, someone released a bunch of them near the lake house area. When we go there, if we look out over the fields, we can sometimes see them grazing. Like it's no big deal. You're riding along and you look out the window and --- ostriches.

My son lives right next to Anderson. He was going to go for a walk with his dog at a nearby park and decided against it.
Just heard some semi-local scuttlebutt that it was a couple pigs instead. We don't have wild hogs here and I do not see how you could confuse the two anyhow.

More like some human lost control over a living creature that they should have never been trying to control. That lion should have been left in the wild where it was home. Some human should be shot instead. If the lion felt at home, it wouldn't have ran away. No living creature wants to be locked in a cage. --73.19.xxx.xx |

zero is closer, Rick is in the next town over.
