I have mentioned this briefly but have more experience with it now.

Highly recommend for every LL.

$59 on Amazon. Search "SVBONY SVGo M3 Mini Action Camera 4K Hands-Free POVs Wearable Camera(64GB)"

Wide angle, clear audio, stabilization. Tried others, liked this one best. 1.25 hours on the camera battery plus up to 3 hours with the base holder. Remove the mini SD card to download as needed.

I used to hold my phone or place it lens out in my pocket to record conversations but that annoyed some people. The tiny camera on my chest does not. I tell folks it is recording. Indiana law says I don't need to inform them but learn YOUR state's laws. Never hurts to tell them.

My police chief says people are better behaved when they know a body cam is in use. Remember YOU are also being recorded! So mind your words.

I am SELDOM face to face with a resident so I wear the lanyard with a built in magnet under my shirt if I go out, and pull it out to connect the camera's magnet if approaching a resident.

Actually MY best use has been when talking to contractors. Plus having a record of the work progress (or lack of!).

I am giving one to my handyman for his interactions with residents.

Thank you Brad, i have a DJI Osmo Action 6 for my trips. Recently i was recommending to Holli to have one of this to offer a tour with one reliable handyman wearing it so she can see the whole interaction (for showing an apt due to her inability to do it herself at this moment). But never though about using it for any interaction with the tenants or with the contractors, interesting. --73.149.xx.xxx

It feels like having a cam wound make a situation awkward. I imagine there are times when they could be good idea. I guess it’s case by case but I can’t imagine wearing it in normal interactions. --162.204.xxx.xxx

It's only recently that I started telling folks I'm recording. Until then not a single person even noticed the tiny blinking light or said a word.

People DID complain when I used my iPhone to record anything.

Kinda boils down to moving to the next level of safety and documenting. The only cost is $59. The digital vids are free.
