How do you say - in a professional way:
"Your application can't be approved because the information you gave does not make sense, it is the wrong answer for that question, and you are hiding something. My gut says no."
It's a strange one. UPS stores as addresses, recent MTR landlord entered also as permanent residence landlord - & phone number entered twice. Where it belongs & in the spot for email. Employed in MS (according to credit report), but no MS address.
Mentioned being in Syracuse but no address there either in the report. Your credit report DOES normally contain all previous addresses, does it not?
I also can't get a hold of the recent FF landlord, so I may just say "can't confirm info"
If you can't confirm application information, how long do you try before rejecting? I started processing it yesterday AM. I had other appointments that interrupted me, so finishing today.

Let us remember the Legal Requirements of a Rejection Letter in your State. In California, if I reject someone for something in their credit report, I must offer them a FREE CREDIT REPORT, VIA a Web site.
If the rejection is something different, and I don't have a signed release from "that" applicant, then my reasons are generic. (I don't say they are an accused: Child Molester, Vampire, Aids Patient, Musician in a Rock Band or Motorcycle Race Driver. There are all true for me, one time or another with applicants. I have a guy that is interested in my empty. I am still rehabbing it but he got word that it is coming up.
Cash in hand, will take it sight unseen. Just him and his minor child. Filled out application, kind of.
Well I was bored so I ran his name thru our state database. DV, DV in presence of a child, illegal possession of a syringe, resisting LE, residential entry, probation violation. Served time for some, plead some down.
But he neglected to put any of that on the application as well as if he has animals, if he smokes, and if he owes money thru the court to anyone.
Oh just looked him up now to see what I forgot and he has a new case. Leaving the scene of an accident and DWI. This is from four days ago.
All this to say I doubt I will even respond to him. He has to know he has all these cases. Maybe it isn't him, although same exact full name and cases show his last two addresses that he provided to me.
You have better things to do instead of explaining what they did wrong. --47.227.xx.xxx |
