I want to roughly track electric usage off one circuit. There is one address and one electric meter. I would like to track electric usage to one location to calculate how much electricity it uses. It does not have to be perfect I just want an estimate. Are there reasonable meters that can do this? I was measuring an exterior light for one tenant on a shared power outside in a two unit common area. I also hid a trail camera to record any tampering. Of course, on tenant kept on pushing the reset button. So I charged both tenants for the use of power and hooked it to the house meter instead. --47.156.xxx.xx

I had an electriction install a meterbase from menards on an out building and just bought a digital read electric meter off amazon that pluged into the meter base. It is working great to reimburse the main tenant for my electric usage. --207.113.xxx.xxx
