During this Election Period, our Mayor, Bass, whan's to show things are on schedule. So most of the City projects got started on time. Then the City workers stopped and went onto the next job. Leaving things incomplete.

In one area the City was making a right turning lane and re-working the parking and bicycle lines. A 3 lane street in both directions is now only One lane in both directions, no bicycle land or parking within 300 feet of the intersection.

Amazing how it was just a problem until called out and now it is taking place in front of a rental which the tenants blame the owner for.

The Boyle Heights fire left around 10,000,000 pounds of soiled food in place in a partially burned warehouse. Now this is attracting rats, and they are breading. The Mayor today said they are "trying to get things done". So far, in a week, a contractor only was able to remove 1.5 million pounds.

Funny, if I as a landlord had waste on a property, I'd be fined into bankruptcy and the property taken from me.

The property is connected with the City. Instead of ONE Contractor with One or Two heavy machinery and a few dumpsters, you can hire 10, 20 or even 100 contractors with unlimited equipment and trucks and get things moving, out of there in days, not months.

Is this just a sounding board for your grievances against the government?
