So I noticed lately that FB Marketplace wants you to provide proof of identification that shows name and DOB on it. At first I uploaded a redacted DL showing just that and was rejected.

Workaround: Delete any and all ads that you have listed with FB Marketplace. About 4 days later repost and you'll not be asked for proof of identity again. --72.0.xxx.xx

I had that happen when I tried to give away a bunch of stuff for free. I ended up putting on the curb instead. --47.151.xxx.xxx

I had that occur to me. I thought it was a good thing because it greatly reduced the scam ads but if there's a workaround, their attempts to get rid of the scammers won't be effective. --23.28.x.xxx
