STANDARD $300k LIABILITY

Does that cover renters guests that visit also?

Is there a difference between Personal Liability and just Liability

coverage as listed on their declaration page/ policy?

When I talked to their agent he said only covers them, their relatives, and anyone listed on the lease, not any guests.

I only have month to month now, since they are longtime tenants

and leases have expired. --108.216.xxx.xx

If the renters insurance doesn’t cover my home owners insurance and umbrella would kick in. --99.23.xxx.x

That is why you must keep good insurance coverage on your rentals for yourself. It doesn't matter what insurance the tenant has, if a guest, or even a burglar, gets hurt, they are going to include the landlord in the lawsuit. --76.178.xxx.xxx

Are you sure your lease has expired? In my state the same terms go month to month. --172.59.xx.xxx

Are you talking about the policy YOU have on your rental?

That's what it sounds like. If so it should cover whomever is there.

But there are sketchy policies out there so best to make sure. --47.227.xx.xxx
