I'll be seeing Ringo perform with his all-star band on Friday. His band consists of Steve Lukather from toto, Colin Haye from men at work, Hamish Stuart from Average White Band, Warren Ham from toto and kansas, Gregg Bissonette on drums and Buck Johnson from Aerosmith. They put on a great show.

I saw Ringo last summer around this time!

I had two chances to see Paul McCartney when he visited Dallas, but I never committed to it.

I do stay tuned into channel 18 on my SiriusXM, though. --96.46.xxx.xxx

I don't know about their last concert, but I did see their first US appearance on Ed Sullivan because my brother (high school age) won the TV battle (we wanted to watch The Wonderful World of Color.) --73.216.xxx.xxx

Went to see HERB ALPERT and his new Tijuana Brass last month! The guy is 91 and jogged onto the stage! Wonderful show!

I like Matt Walsh and Rick Beato's take on why there are hardly any more bands (rock bands) today. All pop solo artists using autotune. BLECH! --64.246.xxx.xx

You got some bad information. Their last scheduled concert was at Candlestick Park in San Francisco on August 29, 1966. Their true last concert was the impromptu one they gave on top of the Apple Records building and that was January 30 1969. It was featured in the Peter Jackson documentary Get Back. I highly recommend watching this. It's on Disney Plus. --172.58.xx.xxx

Ringo Starr is performing? How old is he? He must be at least 90 years old. And he is still up on stage? --76.178.xxx.xxx

Everyone needs to be multiplatinum in their own right to be a member. I think it's on its 14th member iteration since the first lineup in 1989. Everyone usually plays at least one or two songs that made each member famous. An XM interview said that it was partly because they wanted a strong setlist, and partly because Ringo hates rehearsal.

Members for last year and this year--

Ringo Starr (The Beatles) – Drums, vocals

Steve Lukather (Toto) – Guitar, vocals

Colin Hay (Men at Work) – Guitar, vocals

Hamish Stuart (Average White Band) – Bass, guitar, vocals

Warren Ham (Kansas, Toto) – Saxophone, keyboards, percussion, vocals

Gregg Bissonette (David Lee Roth) – Drums, vocals

Buck Johnson (Aerosmith) – Keyboards, vocals
