Just saw an article on Gateway Pundit saying the mayor was going to take properties from "Bad Landlords" and give them to other groups and to tenants.

Is there ANYONE in NYC that is facing this?

What will the landlords do about this?

Of course, what do you think will be the definition of a bad landlord?

Brings a whole new meaning to imminent domain.

If I knew for certain that this was going to happen I would have the buildings demolished on the last day.

You need to understand that in Weaver’s world, the city’s “lack of a profit motive” is a great advantage. The city can ignore considerations of profit and loss and use its taxing and regulatory powers to drive out private actors. It can destroy private landlords and then seize control of their assets when they are forced to flee the markets...
