Newspapers to advertise FOR RENT,..i? f so,.has it been worth it?
We always used just ZILLOW but it seems like we don't get much interest anymore,.
Is there any other things that work? Maybe for rent sighs

Using a newspaper is like using a telegraph to send a message. Sure, you can use it but the problem is that there's no one on the other end to receive the message.

I used the newspaper exactly one time. This was more than 20 years ago.
I got it all set up to be in the paper for a week. But I ended up renting the place out before the paper came out. I called and tried to get them to remove it, no go. I asked if they would at least remove the phone number, too much hassle. Never used them again.
I relied on signs and lists from utility companies for years. Tried FB once and it was too much drama.
Now I use Zillow. Thinking about adding a couple others but have not had the need as of yet. --47.227.xx.xxx |

Nope. Tried it once in the local pennysaver. It was expensive as all get out and I only received two responses from elderly women who seemed, let's just say "personality deficient."
Zillow, Craigslist, and (ugh) FB Marketplace. Also I do a flyer drop at the local hospital since the only employer around here is Big Medical and local government. --64.246.xxx.xx |

I don't even know where to buy an actual newspaper these days. I read online if at all and not the classifieds.
My responses for ads come from Craigslist (still used here) Zillow (never anyone good) a few other online services like apartments . com, and my local FB Long-Term Housing group. A local started it years ago and asked me to admin it a few years ago, and it's grown to over 13k members from across the country. I don't advertise on public FB groups like Marketplace, too much fraud and mayhem. --173.18.xx.xxx |

I have tenants who passed papers until two years ago.
It amazed me that they both did separate routes. They did it daily.
Then one day the company said they were switching to USPS for delivery. I guess the customers got pretty upset about being at least a day behind because of it.
Local papers have websites as well, with lots of ads, and they still put up a paywall even tho they make their money thru the ads. I just avoid them all now. --47.227.xx.xxx |

I use electronic means now. I still have a few for rent signs but I have not needed them since I started using Zillow, my website and having my company name on two utility lists for landlords. Word of mouth has been good of late as well. --47.227.xx.xxx |

Rarely do I ever read the paper. I would go to their website but they insist on a paywall even with advertising.
I do not have a birdcage so I have no need for a physical newspaper. I can clean windows with coffee filters instead.
