I sold a guy a house about 8 years ago cash sale, stayed in touch a little bit. he retired and fully capable of working but not willing to do much.He facebooked me today wanting a loan for property taxes, sorry i dont do loans but i will help figure it out so i got his tax figures etc and he only owes $6000. offered him work 2 months ago that he refused and is on facebook looking to buy some special breed of dog. says they want too much at once and he needs smaller payment.doesnt seem to be able to set a little aside every month.cries all he gets is social security and has a car loan. All about priorities.simple answer get back to work to get it paid but nobody likes that answer. why do people like this ask me to help, they must think i want to give them free money. --98.98.xx.xx |

These types usually end up starting a crowd funding site and eventually get foreclosed on anyway. Then play victim and blame "the system" ™ --64.246.xxx.xx |

it is amazing how many people with paid off houses loose them to non payment of taxes, i mail them multiple times then they still get foreclosed. been tracking several people who were given houses from deceased parents and still couldnt keep them.He stopped communicating when i told him i dont make loans. i told him to get a job for awhile but he didnt like that idea. 2 or 3 years from now he will be really mad if i win the auction and show up on his doorstep --98.98.xx.xx |

Ken, I don't have any good reasons, but can you lend me $5,000 unsecured for six months, so I can pay real property taxes owing on my otherwise free and clear home? I promise to repay in 6 months. --71.38.xx.xxx |

I hear you Ken.
Real estate is a relationship business and people open up and say some of the dumbest things followed up with words that translate to "Please save me from my own stupid decisions".
So what happens when we do step in to save these folks from the parasite government taxes? We are then the predators. Yet if we did the exact same stuff the government did, we would be in jail. Frustrating that Uncle Sam works on a floating scale coupled by dealing with folks who are so much in denial. --67.140.xx.xxx |

Put his property on your mailing list.
That would be hilarious.
Then when he wants the loan you can give him the money for the deed. --47.227.xx.xxx |
