Anyone tried the below product?

Muddskip

I have been hearing it's great. Can be "worked" up to 24 hours after applied simply by misting, can put multiple coats on while still wet, and no sanding required (ok, so maybe a little sanding at the end). It's an additive you can add to hot mud or finishing mud. I have not tried it yet, but for landlords it may allow you to do a job in 1 day rather than 3-4 days if you're repairing and painting.

I have not tried it but have been hearing of it too. I could see it having some potential if you are skim coating an entire ceiling or walls. But for routine patches, I don't see it saving any time or being any better than hot mud. --68.1.xxx.xxx

Another "better mouse trap" gimmick. You can use the fast set in any of it's setting times and coat over it as soon as it takes an initial set. No matter what you use, it needs to dry between coats. "Not needing sanding" only applies if you are skilled at putting mud on. If you have any real skill there is almost no sanding.

I would not waste my time on it. --172.222.xx.xxx

I am still waiting for the day I accomplish that.

Will have to research the other. --73.19.xxx.xx

As Richard said, no matter what you use, it still has to dry. --98.34.xx.xxx
