There are specific laws that are associated with both Learning and of Sales. Why is this important to know? As landlords we need to know how to communicate what we have and then sell that idea or concept to the right customers. Some of these same laws apply to both Education as they do sales.
The law of abundance says we are not the only rental out there. We are not the only way of learning about what we have (in many cases, I would hope they learn by not reaching out to me directly). As for leads, do we really worry if a specific lead gets away? This is a numbers game after all. You will need to get that right person and then you will need to train them on your product.
The law of attraction says you will learn the most and do the most sales with people and things that you can relate to most. So, it is critical for you to know what you are looking for and have a plan to find those common roots. As our society grows more divergent, common bridges become that more valuable. When I meet with a seller, they might tell me what their true issue is (after digging down through the various layers and asking three times), I find using repeat backs as questions a helpful tool.
The law of manifestation and relevance says for something to happen you need to act on it. If you are a real estate investor and you want to buy and sell houses, you will need to write up offers with people who can perform. When I was starting out, I wasn't afraid of hearing the words NO. Actually, I had that response down pat, it was the YESs that scared me even more. For me getting up to do some local stand-up comedy sessions helped. After all is there a more difficult crowd to work than a bunch that doesn't want to laugh at a comedy show? Just remember the most important group of two letter words ever assembled - "If it is to be, it is up to me".
