I bought multiple boxes in November, and I bought a box today and the box today was total about $6 higher, sorry I read the receipt wrong. But I checked, and it IS about $12 higher than a year ago - below is from my HD account purchases:

What drives me batty about ordering Allure from HD? There is a different SKU number if you special order the exact same product.
So, if you special order say 50 cases of flooring and that store has 100 cases - they cannot simply toss 50 cases on the back of your truck with a forklift. Nope it has to be ordered in.
So why do I order so much flooring at a time? We go through quite a bit. At the same time four years ago, I ordered a simple pallet of it (20 cases) in January. For whatever reason, there were multiple issues that caused that two-week ship time to become 2.5 months. It is easier for me to buy the stuff by the pick-up truck load. A case only covers about 24 sq/feet anyway --173.188.xx.xx |

Yet another reason I love my auctions.
Bought 34 boxes of Lifeproof 22 mil at $8 per.
Sure I have to pay a sellers fee and still have taxes, but I had that pallet loaded onto my truck and driving away for $334.70. Retail was $1347.88.
Now I do not get the same colors or styles each time, but I have yet to try and replace a single plank in the middle of a floor. Besides I always have a few planks at least left over that I stash at the property.
I just make sure that I have enough for one place at the minimum. Extras can be stored on site or used for closets/ bathrooms in other places. --47.227.xx.xxx |

Inflation is down. That does not mean prices are down, that would be deflation. We have never had deflation except for during the Great Depression. Inflation being down means that prices still rise every year just like they almost always have, just that they rise at a slower rate than they had been. --73.188.xx.xxx |
