ACH Delays (by zero [IN]) Posted on: Mar 4, 2026 8:08 AM Message:
I got an email from Innago, who I use for ACH with some of the properties.
It mentioned the Federal Reserve had delays in processing transactions and that it "may affect the timing of your upcoming distributions."
This was sent on March 3rd after 4pm, so my CU was closed anyhow. I only had one rent coming in thru them for that day, and it went thru without a hitch.
Just curious if anyone else had similar emails and if anyone got caught up in whatever was taking place?
Makes me enjoy having the majority of my tenants pay directly to the credit union even more.

What does one have to do with the other? Did you call them to confirm the email is legit? If it is, I’d call a bunch of other processors to see if they’re doing the same thing. If not, maybe time to switch? --24.152.xxx.xx |

That's why I asked the questions I did. To see if anyone else had a similar thing happen.
For all I know they might be sending the email to show they are on top of everything that happens, even tho it would not actually cause delays.

Or, maybe it's a sign we don't need to be trusting the banks, "Federal Reserve" or the government. --73.19.xxx.xx |

My HUD section 8 office sent a message that their transfer of rents is delayed... Wonder if these are connected? --172.59.xxx.xx |

One city I deal with had it on their payment portal that their service provider had a nationwide service disruption.
I’ve had no issue with rent payments though. --162.204.xxx.xxx |

If most of the government workers are not getting paid, then it is no surprise that any sort of non-emergency interaction with the government is going to be slow or even non-existent. --76.178.xxx.xxx |

In my case this is not a government payment.
My tenants pay into Innago who in turn pay me, after they hold it three days to make some money.
Happy to hear that nobody got hit with any delays. --47.227.xx.xxx |
