As I type this I'm listening to a hard rain drumming on my roof. 4 days of rain.
It's a narrow East/West band moving slowly across Indiana, not north, not south, just over me.
Every Spring I do a little dance for a gully-washer rain to wash the salt off the roads
so I can finally drive my fun cars! (when the rain stops)

I hear you, Brad.
Lucky for TN there isn't as much salt, but I fuss every time they put it down. Problem here is, they panic if they hear the word snow, even if it means one flake. I think they just like wasting tax dollars. --73.19.xxx.xx |

"Rolls-Royce has a long-standing tradition of naming its cars after otherworldly entities, which began in the early 20th century. The name "Ghost" is part of this unique naming scheme that includes other names like "Phantom," "Wraith," and "Spectre." This practice started with the Silver Ghost, a model that debuted in 1907 and became legendary for its luxury and performance. The press initially dubbed the 40/50 hp model as the "Silver Ghost," and the name stuck, leading Rolls-Royce to officially adopt it later on" --73.19.xxx.xx |

Love how the Ghost has an actual hood emblem still. --73.19.xxx.xx |

I would love a review on how the Ghost is performing so far.
Is everything holding up well?
Any mechanical issues?
How much is an oil change service?
Who polishes the car?
Have you taken it to the track? --73.19.xxx.xx |

This week it is going to reach 10 degrees Celsius well above freezing O degrees where all the snow will melt on the roof and driveway. This winter was much more severe than last year. In the house installed metal roof in 2005 where metal roof the water moves a lot faster than a shingle roof. Instead of snow there is going to be rain where hopefully all the salt is washed away. --216.110.xxx.xxx |

I think I posted this before, but a local car club that meets at a nearby tavern has a day in spring where they momentarily block off the road, and then ceremoniously have a member lick the road to declare it collector car worthy! Don't know how they decide who gets picked to do the licking.
Enjoy your rides. --72.135.xxx.xx |

There are a couple kids around my apartments that lick doorbell cameras. Maybe this is what they do when they grow up? --47.227.xx.xxx |

6man,
Love that truck! I love the antique cars with artistic pinstriping and elegant lines. Cars as a work of art.
Recently the head designer for (Pina Farina?) who designs the beautiful shapes of Ferraris commented today's cars look angry. --68.45.xxx.xxx |

Busy,
That is funny!
I did not LICK the road, but I DID spit on my finger, wipe the road and taste it. We car guys take this stuff SERIOUSLY!
^man,
It's been in a heated garage once the salt was sprayed on the roads.
I start it up and let it run 15 minutes each week, (suggested by RR), on a trickle charge, and roll it a foot to avoid flat spots.
I learned the car is still "thinking" even when "asleep" in the garage, using some battery power
Picked up 2!! roofing nails, one where the sidewall meets the tread - could not repair.
Tires are special order for heavy weight, high speed, and 1/2" foam inside the tread to reduce road noise.
Had to buy 2 to match due to tread wear. Ouch!
2 shops declined the order, afraid to work on such a car. Thank you! If you're not sure, DON'T TOUCH MY CAR!
