GKARL, when you ask AI (Gemini) to review documents for you, how do you go about loading documents into AI?
I am wanting to load a word document into it from my computer.
Also, what prompt did you use to get it to recognize that you loaded the documents?
Is there anything else I should know before doing this?
Although I don't trust everything about AI, I think it would be okay to use compare things. I hope so anyway. I just wouldn't rely on it's accuracy for advice.

For the spreadsheet I uploaded, all I did was upload it, describe what was on the spreadsheet and told it what I wanted to do. It's smart enough to take it from there. If you upload a word document, just upload it and tell it what you want it to do. If the output isn't correct, just revise your prompt to be more specific about what you want it to do.
For example, I uploaded two spreadsheets. One was for bank transactions and another spreadsheet was the checkbook. I had the spreadsheets named appropriately and I told AI to compare the two and prepare a bank reconciliation. That was all that was needed to get the desired output. --23.28.xx.xx |

There's a paperclip dialogue similar to other programs. You can use that to navigate to the file on your computer to upload a document. You're actually uploading to whatever system AI resides on. There's an obvious caution here that one should only upload generic information that doesn't contain sensitive information like account numbers, SSN's and etc. --23.28.xx.xx |

For an analysis of insurance coverage I did a COPY of a 10 page pdf Insurance Summary. Then PASTE the pdf directly in to the Chat GPT search window - ask any thing. For confirmation of accuracy you could do the same COPY-PASTE to Google-Gemini --172.74.xxx.xxx |
