Showing/signing new tenants yesterday (parents of a current tenant) and they were describing a recent loud noise they heard under the mobile home the daughter is living in. Parents have been staying with my tenant until they found something, moved here from TN.
It has been unusually cold here, wondering if one of the straps could have popped, or a block froze and burst? Handyman coming this morning to make sure no water leaks under unit.

Bears waking up from hibernating. Any loose skirting? Areas where they or raccoons, or other critters could get under it?
Removal is easy, just wiggle under and tie a rope around the bears rear leg. Then get a friend to help you pull them out (they like that). Once they are out and leave, check for cubs then seal the skirting back up.
Likely it's an animal (bears, raccoons, squirrels, possums, or stray cats)(stray cat strut music goes through my head as I wrote that)as ruptured pipes would affect water flow and also make constant water running noise. --75.7.xx.xx |

It does have an electric furnace, so maybe but the way she talked it was so loud like a mini explosion. Said it shook the trailer, so IDK, but she has lived there for a year and a half. She should know the regular sounds it makes.

It's smart to have the handyman check it out If it was a loud explosion noise, it might be a leak of some kind where vapor accumulated and something caused it to do that. When animals get under the place, especially in winter, they often pull the belly board down or loose and get up by the heat vents and runs to stay warm. We had one of those the other day at a mobile home. Turns out the customer's AIR CONDITIONING UNIT was turned on; running when the tstat shut the FURNACE off. Causing a damper flapping sound. Killed the breaker to the AC coil and VOILA! no more noise! --64.246.xxx.xx |

The only thing he found was a leak when you turn the outside spigot on, as they had reported hearing a spraying sound when turn faucet on back behind the underpinning, so she likely left hose hooked up to it and it froze when couldn't drain back.
It was most likely duct expanding or a tire blew out from the junk cars in neighbors yard, he has a bunch! --216.126.xx.xxx |

That noise was me. I was cold and just wanted out of the wind. If you secure the base of the non-mobile home. I will be forced to seek shelter elsewhere.
