For all those following...
Neighbor has built a blockade of long, thick, heavy wood along his garage. Not on our land, but the energy company for emergencies (think ice storms and power outages) and ATT continuing it's fiber installs next week.
It will be interesting to see what ATT says when they come.
The installers last week were all smiles and said not to worry about the garbage cans that they would move them. The logs not so easy. No access to the poles with a ladder. When I spoke to him, I told him the energy/phone companies have an easement to their pole.
His escalation isn't about us anymore...
We'll be documenting this, but unless the companies that use the pole take a stand, I don't see any legal avenue to prevent him from placing anything on his 3' of land behind his garage. The other 3 feet that is ours has heavy cables on it to secure the pole.

It's not on your land. He can do what he wants with it subject to local zoning, easements, laws, etc etc etc etc. --73.216.xxx.xxx |

Same as others— not your circus, not your monkeys. Let the utility provider enforce their easement. --98.97.xxx.xxx |

Once the utility company learns they can't get to the pole and thus start losing money they will get involved. If he pushes they might even take him to court over it.
Let him fight with them. They have more lawyers and the law on their side. --47.227.xx.xxx |

When the utility company shows up, don’t go out there and stick your nose in it, telling them that you told him to do this and that and he didn’t listen and blah blah blah. Just stay inside and don’t make things worse for yourself. --174.240.xxx.xxx |

They are problem people so I would consider a nice solid fence between the properties to be a huge plus.
Even better, you don't have to pay for it.
Let the utility company worry about it. Not your circus, not your monkeys. --76.178.xxx.xxx |

I agree; difficult to settle my hubby down on this matter.
When he went to check out the situation this a.m. as he cleared the snow, the logs were not on our neighbor's land, instead blocking the whole path, made to look like they fell that way. He feels like the logs are up for grabs now, lol. --209.107.xxx.xx |

What kinda logs. Might need some wood…asking for a friend…
OK, that was just a small joke. I agree with stay well away, let the utility companies deal with it. Find something to get hubby’s mind of of it: clean out the attic, go to the Domes, go out to Pewaukee for a drive, whatever. --172.59.xx.xxx |

Lol, if your friend wants to remove and take them, who are we to notice!
Today we need to be here to open the tenant's unit up for ATT tp go inside; she's on jury duty. They should be here soon. No idea if it will be the same ATT guys who were here last week. What will be interesting is the neighbor, who is a teacher, will be home by then. I'll likely post an update on this thread...stay tuned.
Thanks for all the input everyone. --209.107.xxx.xx |

Having met your husband I find it hard to believe that he gets riled up/
That being said, the quiet people are the ones you need to most worry about.

ZERO: He is very mild mannered and willing to help anyone. When he's been played for nothing he's done to harm someone, watch out. Both of us helped these neighbors in the past, hubby alot. Cleaned his gutters, took things to the dump because we have a truck, p/u things same reason, etc. I totally support his feelings, but am nervous. He's put himself in situations where he doesn't know if someone has a gun and we now this fellow is mentally unstable and HAS guns. I have nothing against guns, just don't want my husband shot.
Will still be going to the police in this matter, since he escalated this a.m. with his complete blockage with the logs. In addition to pics of this, we still have the pics of defacing our garage and other he did last summer. We are bracing for more of that this summer. --209.107.xxx.xx |

So, Oreo, are y'all still doing OK? Hopefully yesterday went uneventfully....
Did ATT get installed without drama? Hope so! --72.135.xxx.xx |

They came today instead and will need to climb the pole in the dark amongst the logs. He might still be here. Thanks for checking in Busy.
