In those states like mine which don’t allow refusal of S8 don’t as far as I know force you to accept their agreement. So I suppose I could refuse to add their terms to the lease and they would then not accept the agreement. --162.204.xxx.xxx

Thus the exit agreement that I would not participate in the S8 program as a landlord ever again which I never was an S8 landlord. I should add that this particular tenant was on DSS and Section 8 so they prohibited me from getting any rent from DSS while they kept her in there as long as possible. Even though she would cause destruction wherever she went and break her lease routinely they never would kick her off the program so she was never in danger of losing her voucher. --64.246.xxx.xx

6x6 [TN] the constitution says "stop using me for toilet paper"! over the years i have tried to help out several 8 vouchers holders but their process is simply incompatible with my process starting with their requirement for a lease. i do only month to month. i've asked for SPECIFIC language they require in their addenda to no avail. i have asked for a ledger that shows EXACTLY how long the voucher holder has been a "client" and how many addresses they have used the voucher for. i got no info. they also like to do inspections but they cannot comply with my need to have a set time. as far as checking credit a rental agreement is not credit per se...they pay up front. we check their credit to see how they treat those that DO front services or goods or money. i rely EXTREMELY HEAVILY on credit reports. they reveal lots of old addresses and assumed names. --76.176.xxx.xxx
