Has anyone been the local contact and paid per lead or monthly for your county for any of the national we buy houses ad companies? I am interested but dont know who would be any good.I did it once and bought 1 house but that company went out of business --167.172.xx.xx |

I looked into it. A lot of them make their primary money from internal loans/financing with the properties they pass on to their investors, so they make money twice. If the investor can't handle it, they get the house back and make more money. There's a lot of unhappiness in some areas because they funnel the best deals to their favorites-- whether that's personal friends or people who are more likely to borrow extensively rather than being self-sufficient.
I've never signed up, because I have enough to keep me busy--- but those are the things I'd keep in mind. --172.59.xxx.xxx |

My question with that has always been, what are they going to find locally that I’m missing? Maybe they can, maybe they can’t. For example, I just sent a letter today to an overgrown house that I never knew was in this spot. I drove by it all the time. Barely saw the peak of the roof down the overgrown driveway when I went past at 50mph. On the way back, I took a look and the county map shows 2 houses, separate driveways on one parcel. NE- they advertise on facebook and probably elsewhere. some people just like there ads and dont realize that they sell the ads to local investors,for some reason they think a national company can solve there problem better a local buyer can --167.172.xx.xx |

NE, they go through court records and GIS mapping and such and probably can find a lot of rural stuff easier than you can just driving by. --173.28.xx.xxx |
