Yes I should have been more specific about the web site as Chris (VA) points out it is get rent check dot com.
I did give them my name and email so I could watch their demo video. It's about $1 a unit per month and allows you to have a guided inspection with a central report via a cell phone app. you can off load that responsibility to one of your trusted staff people or get the resident to do the guided inspection.
Personally it seems like a time saver if you can off load that responsibility to the tenant and have them do the job for you. I am not sure how well that will work in the real world.
For those using Buildium it seems like they are working on integrating that into the software for you, so if you try it I want to hear how it's working for you. It's already in Appfolio, rent manager, rentvine, and latchel. --65.188.xxx.xxx |

"Guided inspection" - does that mean they tell the person what to look at?
Why not just have them fill in a checklist - there is your report.

How could you completely trust a tenant to mark items off a checklist?
As for them doing a video walk thru, if you are that concerned about the place I would think it best to either go in there or have an outside individual go in there. See what has been moved into the corners, stuffed in the closets. Smell the illegal animals that they have hidden from view.
