Hi Fellow landlords,
I know must of us manage our own properties however, I am looking my for a good property management company with reasonable rates in the St Louis area. I am an out of state owner.
Is $75-$150 per hr maintenance rates average for this market? I was quoted this from one PM company. I understand there is a big range due to different types of services provided.

Services thru a management company, yes that would be the price as there is a mark up for them handling everything. And some zip codes some vendors won't even service. --172.59.xxx.xxx |

Where is the property located? One handles property in a subdivision where I have several properties and they seemed to do a good job. They are located in 63122 zip code area. Yea, prices for work done is high, if you can even find good ones! --99.191.xxx.xx |

The last time I checked with a management company (2 years ago, maybe?) they were charging $60/hr. This is why I'm still managing my own properties! I can make the phone call and my man Friday will do anything for $30/hr. And I know the quality will be superb.
