I am very afraid of the workers at the painted house with high windows, as they might fall. May I ask how you handle this issue? --72.83.xxx.xx |

I have another question: What is the age of your property? Do you have Lead Paint Issues? Are your painters trained in Lead Based Paint? Is the property occupied? If so, how are you going to protect everyone from Lead Paint Dust-Toxic.
The fine for not doing the painting using "Lead Safe Practices" is $37,500 each day.

I just bought a previously enjoyed Genie S40. I made sure all operators go through a safety course and print out a certificate. They are doing a lot of two story work. --64.246.xxx.xx |

If you are using licensed contractor’s just ask them to get an extra million of coverage. You can agree to pay for the cost of that policy. It is on top of there regular coverage and it would be for a week so the cost should be minimal. --162.204.xxx.xxx |

Use Vinyl Windows.
When it comes to shutters especially this time of year, be on the lookout for those hornets nesting behind the shutters. When you are a ladder, you don't have anywhere to go --67.140.xx.xxx |

I hate shutters on a house.
Mostly because they are bug magnets, but also they fade, need painted, crack from the elements and other ugly things.
Unfortunately I still have places with them. Can't take them down now because there would be spots that are not faded, even with the white siding.
I wonder why your contractor doesn't have insurance for himself and his employees? That is one of the main reasons to hire someone else to do the work.
Verify that they have insurance. Get yourself added if you are worried. It costs nothing but a phone call and an email. --138.199.xx.xxx |
