I had plugged in one of my entity names before trying to use it as a handle on CL-- and it had two returns. One was for my personal website, and the other was from opensecrets.
_____ LLC received $4539 in reported payments during the 2020 election cycle so far. See a list of their customers.
I checked the URL to make sure it wasn't a weird scammy thing, and then clicked through.
Total reported payments, 2020 cycle: $4,539

Which is really weird, because I don't know what the 2020 election cycle has anything to do with my biz. I created it in October, 2019, and it didn't start making money until April, 2020. It only pulled $4,640 worth of business in its first year-- a little house that rented for $550/month. And $4640 is $101 more than $4539.
So, that was just a really weird thing, telling me that my biz received money from someone's San Francisco PAC?

I know it's not the first time that someone's been wrong on the internet--- but this one annoys me somehow.
