A expensive luxury is expensive to maintain along depreciates where stocks and real estate goes up in value. A basic reliable vehicle where required to be a work truck. --216.110.xxx.xxx

Not for me. No back seat to toss all the junk from one place while going to another. Have to keep the stuff dry you know.

Besides I don't see an umbrella in the door so it's a no-go for me just on that fact alone.

Thanks, Brad.

Nice comfy looking seats.

Does your Rolls Royce have a V-12?

I noticed this in the article: "The Texas title notes that the VIN certification has been waived." --73.19.xxx.xx

Not to steal any of Brad's thunder on this but yes his RR has a V12 in it.

I am not a car guy. I had friends that were. Some built up muscle cars in the 80s and 90s. My father bought a new corvette years back and I drove it.

But Brad's Rolls goes from zero to Holy Cow in less than a heart beat.

That reminds me, I owe him at least a gallon of gas for the test drive. --107.147.xx.xx

Nice vehicle, but I wouldnt want my renters to see it. Drive a nice vehicle that seems common. F250, nice Ford Transit... --170.203.xxx.xxx

The Rolls isn't for renter consumption.

I have newer trucks. In the past I have had tenants say something about it. I always say this is how I make a living. It has got to be dependable.

That usually works. If not then I can always say that they could have one as well if they made better choices. --107.147.xx.xx

That price for such a truck isn't bad at all. It is a true collector's piece. I would suspect the repair parts would be hard to come by and maybe need to get custom made --67.140.xx.xx

Where's the umbrella? Nothing says high maintenance like having it come with it's own set of tools, that and it being an old British vehicle.

Some vehicles become collectable and actually appreciate after hitting their base amount.

My old 1978 Volkswagon Transporter (Bus) that I bought for $1300 in the 90's would sell today for about $50k if in good condition. --108.69.xxx.xxx
