Does anyone know of a company who will service an owner financed loan? Do the statements and keep up with PITI etc? Stay Dodd Frank compliant, etc?

No, but an escrow company will keep track of payments for you. --76.178.xxx.xxx |

It seems the Real Estate Note speaker on Friday afternoon mentioned loan servicers but I don't recall any specifics. I bet you could reach out to him. --207.113.xxx.xxx |

what is there to mess up? print out an ammortization table and just keep track of every payment made and keep a copy of each check.I have never had anyone send me extra money over and above the payment itself and if they did i could figure it out no big deal.of all the houses i have paid on that were owner financed no one has ever disputed a single payment --98.98.xx.xx |

I am only selling the one place where I play the bank.
I agree with Ken. I have an amortization schedule, keep track of the payments and file the proper tax papers at the end of the year for the earned interest.
Well my wife actually does all that. She isn't fond of the work, but it is simple.
Now mine is pretty straight forward and I am selling to a family member. If you have a lot of odd things in the sale maybe you need someone else to manage? To me that is just another expense.
Besides, now that you are retired you have the extra time. Ha ha --107.147.xx.xx |
