When I got a first time error message, battery low at stations 1 thru 17, I called ADT for help. I had their system, their service agreement and paid extra each month for in-home free warranty service work. Covered for the last 15 years.
First ADT refused any help, on the phone or to come out to my house. They wanted me to pre-pay $179 to send out a service tech. Even after I sent them a copy of my monthly bill which included full coverage for in home repairs. They did not care.
When I asked them which battery needed to be replaced, they said they didn't know which battery it was. All of my wiring is wired, no wireless sensors.
ADT still refused any help.
SO I called a different number and got the senor staff. Management. They still said I'd have to pay the $179 for someone to come out. Not giving any attention to my paid monthly service repair contract.
SO I canceled my service. All of a sudden ADT would come out for only a $100 charge. I laughed. Then all of a sudden they'd come out for free, but would charge me $89 for each battery. What a scam.
SO I gave a list of all properties with ADT systems, all contract over 2 years old so could be cancelled with a 30 day notice. They lost big time..... Will never use ADT ever again. --47.155.xx.xxx |

I just locally monitor with Eufy. I'm sure there's some way to do a notify police but that gets dodgy. --64.246.xxx.xx |

You need to clarify. ADT is a security company. But you said you are looking for cameras. Your problem was mixing the two of them.
Are you looking for a security company -- where you have an alarm that calls someone if someone opens a door or breaks a window? Or are you looking for security cameras? Because those are two VERY different things, IMO.

A one time expense where buy a CCTV security camera system that uses Ip connections like Reolink then if internet connection can view from cell phone along record what happens. Wired security cameras can not be disabled as Wifi camera can be. If you spread the costs with a company over the cost of buying and having the CCTV Ip recording camera installed it may pay off where only expense is a internet connection. In the house using a Reolink system with a Ip recorder where only one is required for each camera. The Ip recorder can be 8 and 16 inputs depending on the amount of security camera to get 360 degree coverage. There are other brands of Ip camera CCTV systems. So far the vehicle thieves will not park in front of house where park on the street on side of house hopping to get a signal when a key fob is depressed where I always use key and lock the doors with the buttons so no signal is transmitted. So in the end you own equipment and control the situation. Again view some videos on You Tube about security CCTV Ip systems. Try to get good resolution along with night time operation. I believe have to get the money back after the first investment. --216.110.xxx.xxx |

Eufy cameras work well and are easy to set up. Various solutions if you have power close by for outdoor or indoor. Solar if you don’t have power. If you don’t have wifi they have a cell option --50.239.xxx.xx |

For cameras I have switched to Blink. You need wifi with them, but they are cheap, easy to set up and you can use them without a subscription.
Slowly moved over to them at my house.
They do not call the police and they do not, as far as I know, have window or door sensors.
I still have ADT because I am lazy. No cameras thru them, but a lot of sensors. Some have gone bad over the years and my battery pack is caput.
I have Simplisafe at my storage property with door sensors. I have another unit with motion sensors for empty places. I do not need wifi but it costs more. I think $22 a month per system.
I was taking the control panel off at the empty house and accidentally hot the panic button. I instantly got a call from them asking if I needed assistance. I said no, told them what happened and then gave my safe word.
They are cheaper than ADT by far and much easier to set up by adding or removing sensors.
