Ya'll know I'm big on goal setting and this was a reward for reaching a major goal.

This car is BEAUTIFUL! Hand built, real wood dash, umbrellas in the doors, V12, 675 hp, 5650 pounds. Factor brochure says "Like driving on a cloud", and I say "with marshmallow tires"! It's so quiet I have to check the dash to make sure the engine is idling, and I can hear folks in the back seat at interstate speed.

You don't DRIVE it like a Porsche, you POINT IT and it goes.

I teach that one clause (ELT) I learned at a seminar paid for my Guards Red Porsche 911 Targa in one year.

Now I teach another clause I learned at a seminar paid CASH for my Rolls.

I'll have the Rolls at Convention and I hope it helps inspire others to DREAM and take action.

Action #1- Get your self to Convention and rub shoulders with other multi-millionaires and folks in the hunt.

Learn what's happening in the larger world, outside your local community.

I can mark the gains in our business to the Convention and seminars I attended.

I was so broke when I went to my first RE convention - I slept in my car at the Rest Stop and survived on crackers and apples.

We become the people we associate with.

I promised the first ride to Dot!

On a hand-built car, if a part breaks, how long does it take to get a new one and where do you get it?

Are these cars reliable?

How long do you plan on keeping it?

This car would make me nervous. Will you have a heart attack if it gets scratched?

Who will be detailing it?

Will the dealer be doing the service and repairs?

You bring up so many good points.

This post actually has little to do with buying the car or maintenance and repairs.

It has everything to do with process improvement and chasing your dream. I submit that many are so caught up in their everyday lives that they can't answer, where will they be in 5 or 10 years.

Where I believe it is awesome to be as fortunate as we all are, many people who by all accounts are successful - have made the choice to try and freeze time and the place they are in.

In my eyes either you are improving your life (hence skill sets and processes) or you are electing to slowly become obsolete. I know personally that for decades; I figured I could save money and create these time and money saving systems - after all why not I was on active duty. Sure, I saved money, and I lost a couple of decades of real estate progress. Don't follow in those footsteps.

It doesn't matter how one trains themselves. Get that training and skill sets for your real estate toolbox. While you are traveling in your real estate journey - dream big and aim high.

My only comment about your new purchase? What will you say to that Bentley dealership from last years convention? The one thing I noticed when checked out cars together.....it is 5:05 PM when we got there and the dealership closed at 5PM. People with those dreams got treated differently - the light came back on and we got escorted around to see half million-dollar cars.

My bad, was it a Bentley that you looked at last year at the convention?

I thought it was a RR. I am not even to Porsche level so anything above that is far over me.

Funny you should ask about the dealership...

By coincidence, 7 months later and shortly after taking possession of the Rolls the salesman in Columbus OH called to follow up.

Here's a guy who sells Lamborghini, Porsche, Bentley, and the $600,000 new electric Rolls Royce Spectre and I get to tell him "Sorry, I already bought one, maybe see you in a few years'.

That was a fun trip and the best part was hangin with you!

I did not buy this to impress anyone, nor drive past city hall flippin the bird. I bought it because *I* wanted it, I enjoy driving it, and it feels so satisfying BECAUSE *I* set a goal, worked for it, and earned every penny MYSELF. ANd it barely made a dent in our finances.

Not being a "car guy"...I can't fathom wanting to drop that amount of coin on a ride.

You don't buy a car like this for being practical. Truth is when it comes to utility, almost anything is a better ROI when measured by cost for drivability. Nope instead about 98% of the cost of a car like this should be a tax write off.

It is a great deal harder to claim 98% that when you drive a six year old Toyota. So if you factor in the tax write off, as long it doesn't need that much work, there can be a limited re-coop for luxury.

Life's too short to drive boring cars.
