Found this on the interwebs, Vee.
"We love old cars because they'll talk with us... they understand us as we understand them. New cars are too full of themselves to have a decent conversation with us. They're so caught up with computers, fuel injectors, big stereos, air conditioners, power seats, power windows, power everything else, they don't know how to be REAL cars. " --73.19.xxx.xx |

Many may not have known this about Vee but he had some acreage down in Trumble County Ohio. He would farm that up and enjoy seeing what the land would yield from year to year.
When I think of faith, that is a great example of it.
I do miss him as the handy man that would tear stuff apart to learn how it worked. I believe that is becoming a lost skill as we live in a disposable life-style.

I was thinking about him when my pex adapter broke the other day. He was a smart dude. Spoke with him on the phone a few times and met him at the conventions. --24.152.xxx.xx |

Vee was a good friend. He readily shared his vast knowledge. He had more common sense than most.
I also met him at the conventions. --74.222.xx.xx |

Plenty, I also got a ride in his van one time when we were at the Mr. Landlord convention in Cleveland. He took us to a favorite restaurant of his that was all cash but the food prices were great and the food was even better.
The stories that Vee could tell about his adventures were very entertaining. As others have stated, he had a lot of knowledge to pass on but what I appreciated the most was that he was a practical man. --23.245.xxx.xx |

He got frustrated with me, but I get frustrated with myself.
Seriously, I learned from him and appreciated him. Miss seeing him on here. --216.126.xx.xxx |
