I'm expecting a bank check from a tenant. It arrives, I open it up and it is for $369,937.00.
What?
So I look at it and it is from a we buy houses guy. Offer $369, 937 for one of my houses, listed by address. It looks like a genuine bank check, it is mailed in the usually annoying pull the edges off mailer.
I just had the house that the offer is for appraised last week and it came in at $519,900, so the we buy houses offer is a bit light. However, he did make me stop and look at it closely and to take the time to figure out what the gimmick is.
The mailer must have cost plenty, but this company runs ads on the television, so it appears that they have plenty of cash to spend.
This is the first time I have received a solicitation in this form. The next one goes straight into the trash. However, I suspect that everyone who received one actually looked at it. --76.178.xxx.xxx |

Ray I could see that causing even more problems for married people.
Glitter all over your lap. Spouse wants to know which gentleman's club you were at.
You would definitely get my attention, and maybe a return package with something else in it. Say something that ripens or smells bad after a day in the postal service.
Actually I wouldn't bother with any of it, but I would not be considering selling my house to you.
