Someone was asking about security cameras with no power and no internet. It may have been awhile ago. I don't have any direct experience with this product but I am using the Eufy E330 (wired and wifi required)with their homebase 3 for a midterm rental and I love them.
This one uses a solar panel for power and can connect with WiFi or cell phone signal 4LTE. It has a built in sim card. Subscription or no subscription depending on your needs. Record things with their homebase 3 if you don't want to pay for a subscription.
If you are out in the boonies or don't have power to a shed but want some cameras this might be for you.

Never use wifi as this can be disabled. In the house the vehicle spoofed garage door opener where installed a device to cut power where the objective is gain access to house then use keys to steal vehicle. It is better to install a Ip CCTV camera system which uses one wire for each camera than the recorder does not need to connected to wifi where can use wired to router. Another option is to reinforce house by installing a commercial strike with 3” screws along with a commercial dead bolt grade 1 or light commercial grade 2 can not kicked in with 3 kicks to prevent entry. If installed a solar panels with enough wattage for recorder would be power along with batteries when there are days with no sunshine. Buying a pouch with Amazon will prevent signals from key fob where signal can be picked up for up to 200 meters where signal is picked they can make a duplicate key fob than vehicle is gone. Also balcony sliding door should be reinforced along windows so break in is impossible. Any device with RF signal is not security where the criminals will be spoof there is absolutely no security. Here anyone who owns a Toyota there is demand in West Africa. So in end it is fortress where it is impossible to break in. In the house have CCTV cameras all way around house where Tacoma has a key where never ever press key fob so no RF signal is transmitted. They park on the side of the house where they park in front of the house. In the parking use only key open doors along with lock with door so RF signal is transmitted. Bought a 2mm aluminium shield from the Us so the 4 Cats can not be cut then stolen. --216.110.xxx.xxx |

Woo woo wooo! You got bears in Massachusetts?
Anyway. If your power then wired is the way to go. I had the electrician put in some outlets in the eaves so I could plug in the E330. Yes it’s WiFi to the home base but I am paying for the wifi and it’s. Midterm rental and I can see the exterior on my phone anytime I want
The problem if you don’t have power you can do power over Ethernet. PoE. But you will have to run cables.
If you can’t run cables then you are into batteries or solar and the options become less available and less attractive.
Like I said I haven’t tried this product but have been happy with what I did get
Some security is better than nothing and if you have a vacant house with no power and no internet this might work for you --174.244.xx.xxx |

No power at all I use my cellular trail camera. Not as nice as the video but it catches movement and sends directly to me.
Eats batteries up tho, especially in the winter months.
Curious how well a solar panel will keep up with charging for video during non-peak times. Unless you have a big panel and a big battery.
I have not looked at the link so it might have all the answers. --107.147.xx.xx |
