I just watched this short video about a program that verifies income. Have any of you used Payscore? Feedback please, thanks.

I see it is actually BANKING verification software that looks for payment algorithms.

I'm not liking that they don't openly post their pricing however.

Reading reviews, it seems that tenants do not like entering in all their banking logins/info to get the information to the prospective landlord.

Here's an interesting quote from a tenant...which I find hilarious...they really do think that renting a home is "different" from any other transaction and should be a human right/free:

"It's actually more insidious than that. Those algorithms actually calculate your income to spending ratio. It's like applying for a loan and having to list all of your income and monthly expenses."

I haven't used it yet, but have considered it.

I think the cost is $10 per verification and you can set it up so that either you pay it or the applicant pays it.

My thoughts are that you could use it for those employers who won't directly verify income. It certainly appears to be much more cost effective and landlord friendly compared to The Work Number. --68.1.xxx.xxx

I require proof of income in the form of paystubs and if there's any question as to their legitimacy, I ask for bank statements to accompany them. This makes income verification a breeze. --137.83.xxx.xx

On payscore, the 6D tenants are horrified that this app exists. --64.246.xxx.xx
