State Specific Question About: NEW YORK (NY)

With all the changes to being more tenant friendly lately, what’s the min credit score you will allow?

I know with me it’s a combo of income and credit but wondering what others have a number that’s the min? --174.208.xx.x

Excellent question.

That answer though depends on what type of place you have and when the last time you overhauled it.

On a class C duplex in between overhauls, I can stoop down to as low as 580 in my state. You being in NY, I would suggest adding another 20 points to that score as the laws are not your friend. --174.131.xxx.xxx
