I dont know about your local code, but mc/bx is designed for places where hands may touch it. Furnaces, water heaters, mostly all commercial applications. I dont think it will hold up to a trim gun nailer though like youre trying to do here. --24.152.xxx.xx |

So you are planning to use the baseboard as a channel to run the wire? If a concrete wall and not studded out I would think that it should work, since there is no opportunity to drive nails or screws into it.
Is it going to be built out to give enough setback as well? Last I knew (old info) was that the NEC said that EMT would deflect a nail, same as sch 80 PVC.
Interesting and I would like to know the actual rules on this as well.
