Indianapolis is also midway between several other of our previous Convention locations and within reasonable driving distance to accommodate the many of our landlord attendees who prefer to travel by car and the hotel offers free parking. I went to my first con two years back. I figured that I saved enough money from reading the forum to pay for the convention.

Turns out it was worth the trip even if I had not learned from the forum. My wife agrees with me so much that when I told her about the email yesterday she went ahead and reserved our rooms. We are about an hour away, but staying on site for the before and after chats is worth not driving to us.

I have attended at least 4 conventions since my first one in 2011. I have always learned more from talking with other landlords than by any other means. Roundtable conversations are the holy grail too.
