2021 we had a pretty good tenant so I thought. She paid first of month every time for 2 years. I had to go in the unit once when her toilet got stopped up by the 4 yr. old kid. I noticed a stripper pole
held to the ceiling and floor by tension. I immediately told her she needed to take that down because we had that ceiling lowered several inches when they replastered it years ago.
I was afraid the tension on the ceiling and her swinging on it to make her on line dance videos....would push though the plaster and leave a hole in my ceiling.
She looked at me as innocent and stupid as most tenants do and said "but when I ordered it on line, it said LANDLORD APPROVED"
I told her I was the landlord and I didn't not give my permission to approve a tension pole on my ceiling. Grrrrrrr.

Bet rent is never late either.
Let her keep it but collect an additional damages deposit that will cover the hole and cracks in the ceiling.

Me, I was going to ask the same thing. I had that happen years ago when I accepted cash for rent, my wife was none too happy having to count it out, she put on her rubber gloves. Last stripper I had in a place was a good tenant. Actually she was better than that. Kept the place clean, no drama, didn't bring her work home with her. I actually had her clean empty places during the week.
