For the past 25 to 30 years L.A. (Los Angeles) various departments handout conflicting rulings against Owner/Landlords who do not have their names on a list for political handouts--aka bribes. I've been the recipient of my unjust decisions by the Housing Department, the County Health Department, Code Enforcement and so on.

The most recent was a new rule, Housing has a right to collect money from landlords to provide housing for the Homeless. I got sent a fine. Then 30 day reminder. Then extra fees, fines and finally a collection notice.

I was requested to respond with a written explanation, or show up in court. I decided to make a court appearance. I was asked to be sworn in and give a brief explanation why I hadn't paid my fines!

Briefly I explained that my simple violation fell in the category of a "Made Up Situation" having no legal basis--since I was a licensed professional with City, State and Federal certification.

Why hadn't I just paid the $177, before it ballooned into over $2000 worth of collectable debt?

I then explained that I and my partner provided a commercial Downtown commercial building to house 40 (forty) overnight homeless in the from of a shelter. We charge around $1 (One Dollar) per month in rent. And in turn this private shelter run by the City Counsel gets around $200 per night from the state to cover each of these 40 beds-- or $8,000 a day, $56,000 a week, over a 1/4 million per month or $3,000,000 a year.

As we sent over Homeless seeking shelter, everyone was turned away, stating the shelter was full. But up each of my inspections, the city only rents out 4 beds per night and pockets the balance of the funds for personal use. That's around 2 and a half million dollars diverted money for the homeless to the City Counsel, Mayor office and other agencies..... I've reported this to various enforcement agencies but no action has been taken.

I'm being harassed over $2000 in unpaid fines while the City steals millions from the State and Homeless.

The the judge says he's going to pass along my case for review. I never hear back about my 2K in fines.....worried the millions stolen may come up for investigation.

This is only one of many situations I've had to deal with.

If you listen to the VP from CA who's running for office, she help pass the legislation for helping the homeless. From February 01, 2020 thru March 01, 2024, a Los Angeles Landlord was NOT allowed to evict a tenant that did not pay rent. Behold, I supported the almost homeless tenants of mine to the tune of $600 grand plus.

I contacted our former attorney General in California when I discovered there was a business selling you fraudulent documents. The attorney general advised me they couldn’t do anything because in very fine print there was a statement saying not to be used for fraudulent purposes. Why would someone buy fraudulent documents if they weren’t going to use them for fraudulent purposes?
