We are watching Elon Musk speak on You Tube. He mentions a bill Gavin Newsom 3 weeks ago that just passed in California. The bill allows those without an ID to vote a provisional ballot. that you do not need an ID to vote if you've voted in California.

I haven't read the bill, I'm sure there's more to that statement. Can anyone in California shed light on this?

You can vote a provisional ballot if you haven't provided ID. It will not be counted until you have completed the identification process.

This is not new.

I am now and have been in the past a poll worker.
