Jason, may I suggest that you come to our Landlord Retreat in January. The reason I suggest that is because you will be able to talk with 200 successful landlords, over half of which have already made the very the transition you will be doing. What you can learn from their experiences would be very valuable to you.

I really believe the many informal (including answers to many questions you will be able to ask) during the 3 day retreat will be extremely insightful and make it well worth your time. Plus you will be able to have a great time at a beautiful resort.

The suggestion I am making to Jason, I also highly encourage you as well if you have made the transition to being a full time landlord, or if you would like to make the transition in the future. Only a few more days left to register. Go to LandlordRetreat.com for details. --184.189.xx.xxx

I vote for asking a CPA. Mine used to work for IRS and knows many ways to report/deduct specific items. --75.11.xx.xx
