Hey all! Can’t wait to see you in Puerto Vallarta. Question. How helpful is global entry to that location? We have TSA precheck but haven’t done global entry as of yet. Thanks! --174.175.xx.xx |

Hi Lisa! Global entry is not anything you can use in going to a foreign country. It is only for when you get back to the states. When you get to the foreign country, you still have to go through their customs. If I remember correctly, Puerto Vallarta wasn't too bad the last time I was there. Cancun on the other hand....
When you come back, you can look for the global entry kiosks and go up to one of them instead of going through the customs lines. They simply take your picture and you're pretty much done.
Hope this helps!

Lisa, you may already know this, that if you have certain American Express cards, you can receive a $120 statement credit for Global Entry.

Because I am incredibly impatient and have aversions for waiting around, I've got global entry. In Baltimore, you zip right through. I don't know about other airports. --98.237.xxx.xx |
