Somebody on here posted about fruit flies a few weeks ago. I couldn’t remember the name of the trap I use, but they are called Zevo. They have an ultraviolet light and a sticky trap that draws the bugs in. I put one in my current vacancy and it has been in there maybe four weeks now. The house is completely clean, no sign of bugs anywhere. I just checked it today and the trap is full of all sorts of little insects. I’m going to start putting these in all of my vacancie. You never know what might be crawling around that you can catch and keep out of sight. They works good. We use them at home because we get a lot of fruit flies from Canning and regular houseflies from the kids, running in and out constantly all day long and never shutting the door. --174.249.xx.xx |

Title should read ZEVO, not zero --174.249.xx.xx |

So I have not had real good luck with ZEVO for fruit flies,..I understand there are a few different species of them so that might be a factor.
In the past I have had good luck with a few jars of a small amount of apple cider vinegar in a clear vessel with something like a plastic wrap with a few holes,..they are attracted to it and drown, --73.126.xx.xxx |

I have one and it's great! so much so that I've been thinking of getting another one. Also I've fired my pest control people and have been DIYing for stink bugs, rodents, mosquitos, flies and have been having much great success.
They must have been spraying very expensive water. --64.246.xxx.xx |

I think bug people still have a place. This thing today was loaded with spiders mosquitoes and gnats. And some small fuzzy looking moths. --24.152.xxx.xx |

Whew, I was worried to step outside there for a minute.
My daughter uses one of those zevo traps and loves it. She had some fruit flies and house flies. Claims it worked. I suggested putting some stuff in the sink traps to kill the areas that the fruit flies breed. That might have done it as well. --107.147.xx.xx |

Well, they definitely work. I was surprised yesterday to see how many bugs it caught in a house with no sign of bugs. --24.152.xxx.xx |

I was changing an AC condenser contactor last month that was swarmed by ants. The custy gave me a can of Zevo ant spray.
It is a miracle! Kills them dead instantly and is supposed to be pet safe.
I keep a can on the truck now.
Different product, same company. --74.222.xxx.xxx |
