Others probably know this, but we didn't.
When you do an online e-signature, the workflow sends the lease in the order you set. Of course, we set the workflow to go from tenant to tenant to me for final signature - but due to the way Buildium works, we couldn't see the merged final document until it was time for me to sign! This means we sometimes had to re-do the darn thing due to small errors or whatever. But no way would I sign it first.
So we added a tiny initial block on the last page, and now it goes to me first to sign off on the whole thing before it goes to the tenants.
This only affects very few here I'm sure, but if it helps, it helps. --173.28.xx.xxx |

Great idea, Buildium is powerful, but no one would ever call it user-friendly. --71.163.xxx.xx |

Oh Laura it's awful isn't it? I'm a software person by "trade" and ability and this is one of the least user-friendly interfaces I've seen. It's as if the designers aren't human, and certainly don't use the product in the real world beyond their tiny portion of design.
I realize it's a complicated subject but c'mon. Put SOMEONE who uses it on board as a USER consultant. --198.54.xxx.xx |

The stand-alone signature programs I've used have an option to send to all signers at once or to send to signers in order. I would guess that Buildium has this option as well. --68.1.xxx.xxx |

If Buildium has it is well hidden and the help desk does not mention this option. --172.58.xxx.xxx |

I don't want it to go to all signers at once even if it could. I want to see it before it goes to tenants, but as mentioned there is no way to see the completed, merged document until it is sent for signing. Stupid. So the tiny text box workaround was a big help for us. --198.54.xxx.xx |

OH and you need to use a different email. Luckily I have many :) --198.54.xxx.xxx |
