We have a for sale by owner sign in front of our vacant rental
We have gotten several calls from folks who have entered into a Buyers Agency agreement with a realtor. I have no issue with paying a realtor who brings us a Qualified buyer. How do you all feel about this situation. I am inclined to think that the price of the home should be increased to pay for this service. How about you all? --69.161.xx.xx |

I just pay them 2.5 if it’s a FSBO, but I don’t raise the price. --174.240.xxx.xxx |

If you have no issue paying for it then dont increase the price of the house. If you are expecting this to happen in the future just price it accordingly.Just realize the agent is not representing you so be careful what you tell the agent --74.77.xx.xx |

I used a discount broker to get on the MLS. Paid buyer's agent 2.5%. --172.56.xx.xx |

If you wait another week, isn't that when the new commission structure kicks in? In that structure the buyer pays for his agent and you decide if you want one or not.
As for paying a commission, if this is a solid offer - I would pay the commission. --24.101.xxx.xxx |

melinda,
Who do they think they are kidding! Buyers are BROKE. Seller USUALLY has to pay the buyer's 3.5% downpayment.
Why does the public think a buyer will pay ANYTHING. *I'M* not paying a commission to BUY.
For years I post my flip on Zillow and give the buyer's agent 3%. They are used to 2.1% after splitting with their broker so they trip each other for 3%.
My ads say AGENTS WELCOME.
I have them provide their one time showing agreement for 3%.
