At 205 Carbon St. Syracuse NY. This is a SFH, 980 sq feet (or used to be) set back from the road. There were at least 12 people there supposedly for a party. The house last sold in I believe 2009 for low 20s.
No gas leak evident. Makes you go hmmmmm.

I remember several years ago a house was destroyed from a natural gas explosion and the house on either side received substantial damage also in Little Falls NY --74.77.xx.xx |

If this were a gas leak - I would think that the place would have blown sky high. This looked like it was tipped over.
What are they saying locally? --24.101.xxx.xxx |

There was one locally about ten years ago in a very upscale area. Gas Co. was working on a known leak on another street and another one blew up while they were doing repair. Turns out gas flowed along the outside of a pipe between the soil and a pipe and into a woman's basement where it was undetected as she was on the first floor doing some work. Must have been the water heater that ignited it. They found her body outside on the roof of her car all burnt. Tiny little pretty women should not have to die like that. --173.61.xxx.xxx |
