Today's headline:

'Elvis’ granddaughter fights Graceland foreclosure sale and alleges fraud'

Foreclosure auction scheduled for this week.

Claims the loan documents are fake.

How much longer will Graceland be popular? If you ask someone in Gen Z what is an Elvis - what will they say?

Those who grew up with him are the folks who are making the 10 or 14 hour drive to go see it --24.101.xxx.xxx

For as long as Elvi's legacy lives. You and I aren't anything but a hound dog.

NE, I don't believe most people ever pay off their homes, or at least not for long, because they can't wait to go take out a loan against it to buy a bunch of crap or go on a cruise.

When I was in school, there was a girl that claimed to be Elvis's daughter. I don't know if she was or not, nor do I remember her name. Did I miss an opportunity?

The article mentions the loan and deed paperwork was fake. Perhaps like the title fraud we're hearing about lately where baddies fake docs and record them.

It was fraud. Someone filed fake loan documents against the house and tried to foreclose on it. They interviewed the supposed notary and she said she never met Lisa Marie Presley and never notarized the documents.

Guessing someone did it as a goof. Why do that on such a high profile property?

I was just there recently for the first time. Across the street is a huge complex of multiple museums, shops and even a large concert venue. It’s worth a visit. --172.58.xx.xxx

Why?

Well if I was trying to sell life lock insurance, I would hire someone to commit fraud and market it too the hilt. --24.101.xxx.xxx

It will be interesting moving forward to find out more about this. Clearly, something odd is going on since, as said above, the notary listed says they didn't notarize it and never met the signee. So, that's pretty messed up.

But, I think there is more to it than just plain fraud. To add some details... The Graceland estate IS paid off and has no mortgage. However, the company involved (Naussany Investments and Private Lending) says that the Graceland Estate was used as collateral for a multi-million dollar loan that was used for the Graceland museum (in 2018).

Basically, Naussany says that the Trust still owes them almost $4 million for that loan that they defaulted on. And the current heir is saying that no loan was ever made and it is all fraud.

What I'd like to see is the money trail for the $4+ million that went into the Graceland Museum in 2018. I had already heard previously that Graceland was hurting for money. So, to me, it seems logical that they likely DID have to get a loan for the Graceland Museum in 2018. Where did that money come from if not from Naussany? Or, if it was from Naussany, wouldn't they have required collateral?

Again, something is wrong here -- something wasn't signed properly. But I'm not convinced that they entire situation was fraud by Naussany and they just made it all up!

Somewhere, there is a money trail involving $4+ million since 2018. Let's follow it. Lisa Marie said in the years up to her death that she was at least $15,000,000 to the NEGATIVE. She was in huge debt in the years up to her death in 2023. So how did she come up with $4,000,000 for the Graceland Museum in 2018 without a loan??

If I'm guessing, I think that the loan existed -- and that the Graceland estate WAS used as collateral. But, somewhere along the way, proper signatures were not obtained before the loan was given. Now they are backtracking try to get their money back out since Lisa Marie died.

But, again, we need someone to follow the money here. Things aren't adding up from EITHER side of this situation. --107.181.xxx.x
