Are the quality of leads any better than Zillow right now. They seem to be doing a lot of advertising so the name is definitely out there. I don’t like that I can’t list without address, but trying to decide if it is worth it. I know some of you don’t have a problem listing address, but things are different here. The obvious problem being squatters , even more disturbing is that the other tenants get bothered by people going to the property without an appointment .

Agree with your concerns about Zillow. Also, they record the messages the potential tenants leave on my phone answerer. --73.183.xx.xxx |

Linda, what do you mean by "They record the messages the potential tenants leave"? --172.58.xxx.xxx |

Has anyone ever considered using a house number that does not exist on that street?
Like if main st has addresses from 1 - 120, list it as 130 main st.
Then the potential resident knows the general are where it is, but not exactly.
If it's a really looooooong road, maybe make it 130 min St, South.
What do y'all think?
I've not tried it - just thought of it & don't know if they would catch it --68.229.xxx.xxx |

Lance, they assign each a phone number and they record the messages. Your actual number doesn't show up. --172.59.xxx.xx |

DJ, can’t use a fictitious house number, I tried. --68.191.xx.xx |

Nope. They insist on revealing the exact street address. --64.246.xxx.xx |

I tried using Apartments.com, however, the leads were terrible. They were the quality that apartment complexes are looking for rather than my higher standards. I finally gave up on them. Zumper didn't provide any better leads. Zillow brought me the best leads, but most still weren't very good. --99.165.xx.xxx |

Leads are still abysmal here. You couldn't make up the low quality applicants if you tried. Most have no visible means of support, are living in a hotel or shelter, have a menagerie, smoke, have some sort of anti social behavior. --64.246.xxx.xx |

It’s regional, I paid the extra $99 to boost my listing and it barely generated 10 leads. I’ll never do that again.
I’m barely getting any interest in general because around here it’s just the people that are being forced to move, moving. Everyone else is living happily paying below market rents. --73.152.xx.xxx |
