Who says you can't fill rentals in Winter? Since December, we've had 6 places come open. As of today, back to 100% occupied with paying tenants.

I'd say "It's Miller time!"... but it's still before 11 AM where I'm at, and plus if I were going to celebrate it would be with a quality craft beer. I am hitting a local charity fundraiser tonight: Bourbon Festival! That ought to take care of it.

Cheers!

Way to go Sid. Now you can have a drink and do the happy dance. I am 100% too but my next vacancy is coming March 10th. My 100% honeymoon only lasted 6 weeks but it is what it is. --71.207.xxx.xx

Congratus, Sid.

We have an empty unit...but departing Tenant paid March's rent, they just left early - so no rent lost. New tenant's lease begins April 1st. Not much to do but we'll find something I guess. --173.28.xx.xxx

Congratulations. Always a good feeling when you are full.

I've got my first vacancy in over a year now. Taking the opportunity to do some sprucing up, it's only had paint for about 15 years so needs a little TLC. --209.205.xxx.xx

Congrats on the fill!

I still have one open. I am taking too long to get it done, even tho I have tenants waiting.

Can't decide if I want to keep or or sell it. Changes daily. --107.147.xx.xx

Currently im at 100% occupancy having just rented out our latest project. Not for long though. Mr. Casanova asked for a months extension on his non renewal. Predictably they will stop paying rent. He immediately asked "what about my security deposit?" It was all I could do to not respond "yes what about it?" --64.246.xxx.xxx

I too leased my only available unit today. It was on the market for 2 weeks, while 2 weeks doesn’t sound excessive, it is radically different than others during the past 3 years. --149.76.xxx.x

About the deposit, we need your new address so the bank can mail out your check after we get the keys returned to a clean unit. --184.59.xxx.xx

Nice Job......

A nice steady squeeze allows you to accomplish so much. Only empty I have is getting a for sale sign on it within the next three weeks. I do have two that I bought that I need to squeeze out some squatters, but at the price point I picked them up, I am alright waiting for the courts to push them out in six months.

I sold a place last Tuesday and have my first replacement under contract already. That place was an estate. They accepted my offer contingent on bank financing, but after it was accepted, I asked - would it it be easier for you not to worry about financing, the appraisal and a longer closing - I suppose I could close and pay you cash. How much of a discount would you offer though? BAM - another 5.2% price reduction. Estate properties in the winter are ohhh so easy. --24.101.xxx.xxx
