Rentlinx will no longer be offering their services. For $20 a month they advertised to about 15 different sites. Does anyone else have a similar service?

For the last three or four years Iíve been using my local Facebook website. When you use Zillow or Zumper, you get way too many applicants and a lot of them just tire kickers. --146.70.xxx.xx

I use Zillow. When someone inquires about the rental I will send an application, this is Zillow's application and they pay the $30.00 application fee. I'll spend a couple of minutes reviewing the application and decline or respond with an offer to view the unit. Everyone gets the application. I have also received calls from what I think were fair housing screeners. Always offer applications, like Brad has mentioned in previous post. --67.61.xxx.xxx

I use a Buildium add on service - $16.88 per month and you can list anywhere from 0 to all of your units for that one flat rate. They syndicate out to Zillow and Zumper and all of their subsidiaries.

Only catch is you have to have Buildium, but if you have at least 10 units I think it's worth getting. They have different levels of pricing based on unit count, and it's not as much as you think for a robust software package that offers a lot of features and automation.

Prior to Buildium, I listed with the paid Zillow option. In my area that got more high quality leads than Zumper.

I don't use Buildium's service because they insist on publishing the address down to the unit #. No not fair to occupied units / current tenants.

I post on CL then cut & paste that link to my housing group on Facebook. --173.28.xx.xxx

I still use craigslist, Zumper and tried a local facebook group last time. The facebook group did not get me any better prospects and I had to list it under my personal name/facebook vs using my LLC. Iím not sure I will do that again unless craigslist and Zumper bring no responses. --73.159.xxx.xx

Most of my stuff is multifamily 2-5 units. I've always had good luck by posting notices at a couple of the larger local businesses & the hospital as well as offering a reward to my existing tenants if they find an applicant that I approve. I've found that at least for me Craig's list, Nextdoor & Facebook seem to bring out 99% poor applicants. --96.233.xxx.xx

Zumper works well for me $19 month. Bump it up. And Zumper will feed it to realtor.com when you pay to bump your ad. It's a good deal in my area. --172.59.xxx.xxx

Facebook is an absolute dregs magnet in my area. Nothing but bottom feeders. Great if you are building a data base on who NOT to rent to. My go tos are Zillow and CL. Everywhere else they insist on posting exact street address which is a no no in this day and age of squatters rights. --64.246.xxx.xxx

Caveat: Zumper will feed your ad to other sites that will unmask the exact street address such as realtor.com --64.246.xxx.xxx

Craigslist seems lower response, but better qualified --76.138.xxx.xxx

Our website.

Zillow. No need to pay the $29 for Premium boost because we have a rental shortage locally.

I use zillow and apartments(dot)com and the MLS.

This last one took 30 days and not due to lack of interest, it was finding someone that was well qualified.

I do pre-screen so that helps cut down showings to unqualified leads. I accept a zillow application as a pre-screening step if they have already filled one out. Usually they just answer my pre-screening questions. If they don't answer or don't answer correctly, they don't get to see the rental. Ended up with a great tenant. --98.211.xxx.xx

I need to get some signs made up for my next open place.

Clunky website is better than nothing. At least I can put pics and maybe a vid up. Plus it has the link to my application (which I need to start charging for).

Brad, do you put signs with arrows so you can lead the prospects from main roads to the rental or is it all from your online listings only? --107.147.xx.xx
