What are some of the doozies you've heard when tenants are behind in rent and they try to use miniscule complaints to "justify" the rent being behind?
heard this one today:
"the post office keeps delivering the wrong mail to my mailbox."

I have four units (2 dupes) back to back at the same place.
For years now the mail gets put in the wrong boxes. Everything is marked with the proper addy. It got to the point that some tenants thought it was funny after a while.
Now it is almost a reason to get to know the neighbors.
